Happy Twitterversary to me I guess? lol. I’m no longer on Twitter or X as it’s now called but have great memories and originally signed up as @cuteek on 3rd September 2008. To see how long you’ve had your Twitter account go to your profile and it will display the date you joined.
My first tweet was “Doing some serious blog updating” and as always most of the updates in these daily geek blog posts are my old archived tweets and facebook status. It was nice to keep a record of them over the years.
If you ever deactivate your account, make sure to reactivate within 30 days or you will lose your twitter handle forever. It’s also a good idea to archive your tweets. This is what I did and although I lost my account, I still have every single thing I wrote including images. I’ve tried to get mine back and ended up creating a new one and somebody else took mine. At first I was very annoyed but now as I’ve left the platform and it’s changed so much I’m not bothered.
