Despite living near the beach, I’m usually always wearing trainers, because I love taking long walks. But when the heat is on there’s nothing better than having sandals on and being able to dip my toes in the sea. It’s likely that I will be spending more time at the beach in the next month, so I will need to have my feet in tip top condition.
I started using this Scholl Velvet Smooth Pedi Electric Hard Skin Remover a few weeks ago to try and get rid of all the hard skin on my heels and make them look a bit nicer. No one wants to see cracked feet in flip flops, yuk!
In my lifetime, I’ve probably had 1 professional pedicure at a salon and that was a long time ago. I’m one of those weird people who hates touching my own feet, so except for a quick scrub in the shower and failing at using manual foot files, I hardly ever put lotion on them as I hate the feel of hard skin. (I think this is to do with having a lot of verrucas as a kid)
Goodbye Hard Skin
The first thing I loved about the Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi, is that it’s battery operated and there’s no scrubbing away at your feet. This gadget does it all for you, just hold it on the sole of your foot and the rotating file starts to banish that hard skin. You may even see white dust flying up as it files!
It’s best to use the file on dry feet and then apply Velvet Smooth Intense Foot Serum which smells amazing by the way! It really makes my feet feel glossy after a good filing and I’m not as freaked out to touch my feet.
You can get replacement file heads for the Velvet Smooth Express Pedi, which I thought was brilliant as I will be able to use the same machine on my other half just changing the file head. Plus when I’m all filed out, the whole thing doesn’t have to go in the bin!
If you suffer with hard skin on your feet, I recommend you give the Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi a go – it promises beautifully smooth skin after 1 use. IT WORKS!
