Two students from Earth are chosen to attend a high school in outer space.
Do you remember Galaxy High School? It was such a good cartoon. It made me want to go to high school in Space so badly, I thought I would fit in better there than a normal high school.
Saying that, Galaxy High still had its fair share of bullies and teenage turmoil. The main characters actually switch popularity status when they arrive to their new school.
The original episodes first aired in 1986! It really doesn’t feel like that long ago. You can find the full length episodes and some very good in depth analysis on YouTube.
Fun fact: Don Felder of The Eagles composed the music for Galaxy High!
There’s a little yellow flying alien called The Creep who I totally forgot about until now. I always thought he was so cute but now I rewatched his first scene with Aimee and learned how he got his name lol.
What did you think of this cartoon / anime? Did you grow up watching this?
