Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad! I hope you are all having a lovely day. I thought I’d share what I got for Christmas and how we spent our day. As seems to be the yearly tradition, I woke with a bad stomach. Yay! 🙃
The opening gifts part was really nice though, we popped on a YouTube video of a fire crackling with Christmas songs and exchanged gifts with my parents in the living room by the tree. E surprised me with a pair of gold Bob Skechers which I spotted in Foot On Mars last week. I didn’t even try them on in the shop and they fit perfect. It’s so nice to have Skechers again, they are so comfy. They are like a cracked gold design, I’m really into my metallic trainers at the moment.
I got E the aftershave he really likes and a Star Wars t-shirt. We like to keep it minimal at Christmas and buy things we need throughout the year. We still have 3 Kings Day to celebrate yet on 6th January, which is when we exchange gifts with E’s side of the family.
My parents treated us to brand new living room curtains and curtain pole plus helping us with loads of things around the house. The fact that they are visiting us for the holidays after not seeing them for 2 years is the real gift.
We booked a traditional Christmas Day dinner but unfortunately my stomach was being very unpredictable and we ended up getting our meals to takeaway. It was still delicious and later we caught up with family on FaceTime, ate chocolate and watched A Christmas Carol.
How did you spend your Christmas day? 😊

Christmas diarrhea – the gift that keeps on giving. 💩. I felt bad this morning, picked up after breakfast and then tonight was Rambo’s turn, poor thing.

I finally watched the new Ghostbusters film and it was amazing! I loved all the easter eggs but that it was it’s own story too!
On This Day 2013
Time to break out the cheese and crackers. We have lactose free cheese for and jalapeños which kind of cancel each other out haha.
