Did I fall for it? Absolutely, for about 5 seconds as I was making a reaction video. Then I realized it was the Duolingo marketing geniuses at work making a very clever collaboration with Carnival Cruise Line.
The detail that has gone into this year’s April Fools prank has me wanting to book a cruise. 🤣
The Duolingo World Cruise is 5 years out at sea, sailing across 7 continents, learning over 40 languages and visiting 195 countries. Entertainment and fine dinging is included in this educational trip on the seas.

In all honesty this kind of trip sounds amazing. I’m not sure about the 5 year commitment but the idea of Captain Duo and his minions in charge of a holiday cruise sounds hilarious! Like a Disney cruise but for unhinged adults haha.
