Geek Life Lately 21

It’s Back to Hogwarts time! The season of stationery, studying and crunchy leaves!

Where do I start?

I’m quite busy at the moment with life and getting ready for a much needed holiday. We’ll be visiting a place with an underwater volcano and I’m so excited!

WATCHING
Better Call Saul. This new season is really getting me in the Breaking Bad mood and I’m sure Jessie will be introduced very soon.

Last night I saw the trailer for Manifest.  It’s 9 minutes long but it looks very good. I won’t spoil it if you haven’t seen it but I’m getting major LOST vibes from it.

Here’s the trailer:

STUDYING
I’m up-skilling and taking a few business courses at the moment, one of them is renewing my Social Media Diploma and updating with the latest strategies.  In July I earned my Digital Marketing diploma with Google.

Is it really September if you don’t have new stationery?

The end of this year is going to be busy but it’s back to Hogwarts for me with Spanish classes, after all of the travelling and family visits.

One of my goals at the start of this Summer was to take part in 100DaysOfCode and in doing so I put together a list of free online coding resources which I’ve tried and tested. The courses I mention are great for beginners like myself or even seasoned coders who just want to brush up on their skills.

READING
Oh boy, I’m reading about 10 different books at the moment! My bookshelf is a nightmare haha.  I will probably get some reading done on holiday and I’m kind of excited that the internet might be slow. 😀

LISTENING
Lofi Hip Hop music, it’s so chill and great for studying and working.

PLAYING
Detective Gallo, a comic-noir point and click game for PS4 and Switch, I really enjoyed it.  What’s your fave game genre?  I’ll be adding some more game reviews soon so look out for those.

I hope you enjoyed this chatty catch up and I shall see you in the comments. How was your week? What are you looking forward to this month?
