When my BF and I visited Disneyland Paris a couple of years ago, we were lucky to experience 2 seasons – Halloween and Christmas. If you go around the 1st week in November it’s a mixture of pumpkins and glittery snow.
If you have ever been to Disneyland, then you know there are plenty of opportunities to pick up Disney Merchandise in the little boutiques and in Disney Village. It’s so difficult to pick just a few things, so we chose some Disney Christmas tree ornaments, with the thought that every year when we decorate the tree, we will be reminded of what a magical time we had on our trip.
With that in mind, here are (in my opinion) 5 of the best Disney Christmas tree ornaments:
1. Mobile Mickey Mouse Icon Ornament
This has to be number one on my list, as this goes on the top of our Christmas tree every year. We picked up this iconic Mickey Ears Ornament in Paris after a fantastic holiday. Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas or have a tree, you can still get creative with these Disney ornaments and use them in other ways, great if you have a collection. Some of them even stand on their own, so you can display them all year round.
2. Jack Skellington Shoe Ornament
Of course I couldn’t make a list like this without including something from one of my favourite Disney characters. This Jack Skellington shoe ornament is such a quirky piece. I love the details, check out that bone high heel! There are quite a few shoe ornaments inspired by different Disney characters, it’s kind of difficult to pick just one.
3. Elsa Frozen Musical Ornament
How can it be Christmas without a Frozen ornament?! This hand painted singing Elsa ornament is beautiful! She sings ‘Let it Go’ from her Ice Palace. This can be displayed on a desk or tree and perfect all year round for Frozen fans.
4. Alice in Wonderland Drink Me Ornament
The more I look at this, the more I want to have a Wonderland themed tree. This Alice in her Drink Me bottle ornament is so fun!
5. Princess Jasmine Ornament
The Disney Princess ornaments are stunning, it’s hard to choose a favourite! Tiana and Rapunzel are also sweet ornaments. Glitter accents and satin style dresses are a feature on all of the Princess ornament dolls. This would look awesome on a Disney Princess themed tree.
This year our tree is going to be mainly Jack Skellington themed, we have a white artificial tree and black Nightmare Before Christmas bauble ornaments. Do you have a theme for your decorations? Or do you just throw it all on? 🙂
Once we’ve decorated I will add a photo to instagram.
