4 Day Weekend

Hands up if you have been feeling a bit exhausted lately. πŸ™‹πŸΌ I don’t know whether it’s the time of year, the fact that we are STILL in a pandemic or what?

For me it’s all of the above mixed with the fact that my new wake up time is 5am. Thankfully here in Spain we have a 4 day weekend, so I feel like I’ve been able to relax a bit and rethink some things including bedtime and when to switch off from the internet.

At some point I want to do a little decorating for Halloween, so I’ll keep you posted on that and if I find any cool decorations.

Palm Tree and Turquoise Sky

Watching
Last night I finished watching Black Widow (Disney+), which I really enjoyed. It was good to see another side of the Marvel Universe and learn more about Natasha Romanoff’s backstory. David Harbour as the Red Guardian was a nice surprise, I didn’t know he was in the film. It’s amazing how I’ve avoided spoilers until now. Now that I have finished Black Widow and Squid Game, I can finally start Midnight Mass (Netflix). Free Guy is coming to Disney+ this week so I can’t wait to watch that and see what all the hype is about.

Listening
Right now I’m listening to Hawaiian Cafe playlist on Spotify. With songs like Aloha Breeze it fits with my surroundings and I find the ukulele very relaxing while keeping me focused. It’s perfect as background music as I work.

Studying
Yesterday I announced my return to learning to code, I’m doing it for fun and to stay sharp but all is explained in that post. I initially wanted to do 100 Days of Code but I just don’t have the time. So these daily blog posts will now have a small section for studying because I also have 5,000 other courses I need to finish. 😜

Day 12 / 31 of Fitness Gaming Challenge

As I mentioned above, today is the last day of our 4 day bank holiday weekend, so I did plan on an evening session of Ring Fit but it didn’t happen. I did play PokΓ©mon Go and caught a feisty Patrat in the wild.

How are you? I hope you have had a nice weekend.

Day 30 of 100 Days Of Code / Tech
Today I started a SEO course with Yoast. I’m already loving this quote:
“A page about delicious cakes linking to a page about cement doesn’t make any sense.”

And yet people still do it! πŸ˜‚. I got offered a quality guest post for Cuteek about tyres once. Like wtf? Unless there is a geeky aspect to it, your tyres aren’t getting on here.
