My reading goal for 2026 is 7 books. Of course this might be a challenge seeing as I started reading the Fourth Wing books and they are larger than what I would usually read.
Last year I did manage 7 books, including 2 Did Not Finish books. I still include those because I made the effort.
Did you see that GoodReads finally added a DNF category?? About time!
Since I quit social media (again and for good this time) I wanted to fill that old scrolly time with some reading. So the aim of the game is one chapter a night.
This isn’t always doable, but at least pick the book up before I fall asleep and check in on my characters. A little hack of mine is to put my book on the bed so I have to pick it up when I get in the covers. Ah.. that ADHD life. π§
π My 2026 Reading Progress (3 Finished / 4 Reading)

π€ Finished in 2026
π Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
Review: Big, thick book but totally worth the lost sleep and journey to Basgiath War College.
π Double Love (Sweet Valley High #1) by Francine Pascal
Review: Pure retro nostalgia trip.
π Sidetracked Home Executives: From Pigpen to Paradise by Pam Young & Peggy Jones
Review: Found a vintage copy of this and devoured it! It was written in 1979, such different times. Loved the index cards section!
π Did Not Finish (DNF)
Taking full advantage of Goodreads’ new category! Keep checking back to see what I couldn’t push through.
